| So this is the topic where Peps makes us all jealous... Very nice painting job and I see you're using transparent bases It looks like the pleasure of the game will be multiplied with these painted minis. I had an idea for painting but I'll have to experiment : how about using a mix of gold and flesh paint for the Gods ? (most have a lot of skin exposed) Similarly, I was thinking about some stone effect for the Titan's skin (except Gaia). Not sure how to do that yet... | |

| Je ne suis pas fan de la dominante verte sur la figurine d'Hades. Avec sa fourche, il me fait vraiment trop penser à une représentation de Poseidon. Par contre le rendu sur le bouclier : dément !!! | |

| (tiens j'ai basculé en français) I was saying : I am not convinced by the green skin of Hades. This and his fork makes me mistake him for a Poseidon mini. The shield however is fantastic. Some details I don't like on these minis : Hector's cloak seems stuck in a revolving door, Athena's Belt seems to suggest lightning just hit her spear, and Athena's ass... well is not what I would expect of the Goddess of Justice and Wisdom | |

| Are you saying that the Goddess of Justice and Wisdom can't be sexy? Why would that be? | |

| Thanks guys!
(I answered already but my answer seems lost in warp)
@Selkares: The minotaur's skin would need more enlightenment (don't know the correct term in the painting vocabulary, sorry) highlighting (thanks to Voice of Olympus) according to me, but I wanted it dark (the base is very dark blue, which is not easy to see on the picture).
@Telgar: I wanted to give a different tone to each god, with a specific color scheme based on one dominant color (red for Ares, blue for Athena, green for Hades and white for Zeus). According to my vision, Hades had to have this pale "gothic" (rotten?) flesh, in this post-apocalyptic mythological Greece. In opposite with the "flamboyance" of his brother, Zeus.

| I think the painting term you're looking for is highlighting (painting the lighter bits of a model).

That's what I did on my descent mini (after watching Erwann painting session): black coat base then a light spray of white from above at 45°. I am not sure that the effect is useful (completely covered by the base painting) but it seems to help distinguishing details when you start painting. It also gives a nice touch to the mini's base which is ruined when I overpaint the feet Anyway, I am still trying to find the technique which works best for me. | |

| This is some fantastic painting Peps! How did you do the glowing eyes (on Athena specifically), is that just white eyes with a blue wash? And if so which wash did you use? | |

| That's it: white eyes with a blue wah. The blue wash is made by diluting a lot blue paint. Simple. | |

| Thanks Peps, I haven't tried making my own washes yet, I'm guessing it can't be hard though | |

| really like the Minotaur never noticed, is the guy holding his pants up? he has a bit the look of a guy, caught in the shower when the doorbell rings and promising pain and death to the unlucky guy at the door if it's not important (or even then) task: take a large base, do a modern house floor, set a door in the middle, position the minotaur on one side, paint a random mini in the color scheme of your local postal service, replace its weapon with a package and position it on the other side of the door. complete is the perfect scene | |

| @Asgo - I can see what you mean about the Minotaur. However, if you look closely, his right hand isn't holding his clothes, but a human skull. It's just a coincidence of position and colour. Of course, you could easily modify/paint yours accordingly... | |
