PostSubject: Enie's paint ups: Conan to Mythic    31st December 2016, 8:33 pm

Hey guys, I am a relatively new (less than 3 years) miniature painter.
I just wanted to share some of my work as I work through Conan minis:

Any feedback is welcome. This seems like a good place Smile
Can't wait to get my hands on the Mythic battle miniatures ...

Enie, you've also got some awesome bases! What do you use for these?

Thanks, Yeah he/she/it paints up real nice. I need to create a water base for its main body though... The only reason I haven't because it will not go back in the box if i do that.

Nice stuff Enie, and thanks for the tip about thick mud (and other texture paint). I always forgot those possibilities.

Thanks ! tip for the thick mud , use a sepia wash or something afterwards, the color of the Vallejo thick mud is too pale for my liking,

I spent too much time on those bounce then erroneously washed them with flesh wash to loose all highlight details Shocked Just happy the tribal tattoos came out ok.

Thaug was 3 hours or so.
Water Vallejo effects take overnight to cure

@Yuma Thanks!! Thaug is my favorite mini from Conan . Poseidon expansion for Mythic seems to have more stuff I want to paint , other than the base set of course
