| if a unit(with climb) is on the top of a rock, can it be malee atacked by a unit without climb in an adjacent area? And the bônus range the Unit on the rock gets, also works on the flying units? And what about habilities/power range? | |

| I don't think those who cannot move to the rock should be able to reach units on them. Flyers should only get to ignore obstacles in my opinion. | |

| The latest rules have removed the distinction between melee and non-melee attacks. Yes, if a unit has range to do so (range 1+), it may attack into an adjacent area, regardless of whether or not it could move into it. A Rock's bonus also applies to flying creatures. They're still higher up than usual | |

This is not my understanding : - 2.9 beta wrote:
- Flying Units [...] ignore all terrain effects.
For me the offense and range bonus are included in the base stats (if applicable). | |

| You're quite right. I was just reading the terrain page, rather than the flying unit stuff. Yes, flyers ignore terrain effects | |
