Quick Paint Job Idea Empty

I know we have a while till we get our hands on the minis but I wanted to post this before I forget.
For the people who don't think they will be able to paint the minis for whatever reason, I thought of a neat and easy effect you could do.

Basically paint them like mable statues.

Then it would be really like moving pawns in hopes to regain your power. If you have seen the old Clash of the Titans there is a scene in Olympus were there is a wall the human toy stautes the gods use to manipulate the affairs of man.

here is a link to creating the effect with a sea sponge. You would just have to find the right colors for white marble.

Just some food for thought.

I'm not trying to steal your thunder or anything, painting as statue is a good idea. I'm glad you're sharing your ideas.

However, if that's too advanced for any or they just don't have time, check out this thread on BGG on a different fast & easy approach

https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1503056/easy-fast-way-paint-blood-rage-models/page/1

It's about as simple as you can get. just some shades to help pick out details to give you figures some definition. And kind of artsy in it's own way.
