As a painter myself I could not miss the opportunity to share my painting examples and tutorials. Recently the whole range of The Others went through my bench, but obviously I would like to keep this place mostly for MYTHIC BATTLES. | |

| The Others 7 Sins Apocalypse Box Avatar of War How to paint C - Citadel V - Vallejo T - Tamiya 1. Black primer (Citadel) to start with 2. Drybrush with Dawnstone (C) 3. Khorne Red (C) airbrush for the skin leaving head, layer of Mephisto Red (C) 4. Airbrush skull white on the head, black for eyes and mouth, white teeth 5. Red wash (any) on body and shoulders covered by white and Nuln Oil (C) wash on head 6. Correct white skull and teeth 7. All the scars with bone white washed Agrax (C) and corrected. 8. Metal parts with metal plate (V), bronze and Balthasar Gold (C) mix, same with sword. Washed with Agrax 9. Legs washed with black ink, hoofs with Monster Brown (V) washed Agrax (C) and highlighted with Leather Brown (V) 10. Bullet belts are Balthasar Gold washed with Agrax (C) and highlighted with gold (any) 11. His cloths are Doombull Brown (C) washed with Agrax (C) 12. Black Base (T) | |

| The Others 7 Sins painting continues Today The Avatars of Famine and Death No airbrush used this time, all manual Painting tutorial to follow 1. Black primer 2. Drybrush both models with dark grey 3. Famine: paint in layers (grey normal and light) all the visible hands and wash whole miniature in Nuln Oil. 4. Paint metal scale and sword with gunmetal grey, wash with Nuln Oil and highlight with Silver. 5. Death: paint his cote with purple and wash with Blue wash. Highlight with light purple. Use mix of washes puprle and blue on Death shoulders 6. Paint bones on his wrists with bone white, wash with Agrax (C) and highlight with bone and white (watered down 1-1) 7. Paint Death sword with Warpstone Bronze (C), wash Agrax and highlight with Runefang Gold and Pure Gold (just edges) 8. Pure Red (V) for eyes and hot stones on Famines scale. 9. Wash wings with black ink and drybrush VERY gently with white against the feathers (down->up) 10. Sword gem(?) with dark blue, highlight with blue and white dots. 11. All skulls ganging on Death`s back paint bone, wash Nuln Oil and highlight with German beige (V) | |
