Aquatic Symbol

Hello,

this isn't a gameplay question and I am probably in the minority with this, but I think they should consider changing the aquatic symbol. I don't know why the symbol is Poseidon's trident. I understand that he is the god of the sea so the idea is obviously present, but that makes it look like all aquatic creatures in the game swear allegiance to Poseidon, which is obviously not the case since any god can recruit any creature. Also, Zeus is the god of the sky, yet all the flying creatures have a wings symbol rather than a lightning bolt symbol. Personally I would prefer a more neutral symbol for aquatic units, such as a drop or waves.

What do you guys think?

That's a good point. I think a waves symbol would work great

i agree with trident strage symbol, but if the bird don't bother you for flying, you should be ok for a logical fish symbol instead of wave. Or you ll ask for a wind/cloud symbol for flying units ?

Aquatic refers to water, the natural element of aquatic units. Flying refers to their capacity of flying. So no problem for me if a wave is used for aquatic and a bird for flying units. It's not symetric but there is a logic too.

So you ll eat with a fork and a axe =)). Normal. (joke)
We could make icone more logical and uniform.

Of course the symbol for flying units could be a cloud or wind symbol, but I'm also fine with the wings or bird or whatever it is, because it doesn't make it seem like they belong to a certain god. The aquatic units' trident on the other hand makes it seem like they belong to Poseidon.

We already have waves for water areas.

I take your point about the trident-Poseidon link though.
